Willie Alvin Waters

Brother Willie Alvin Waters was 74, and departed this life Friday April 28, in Florence County. He was the husband Olena Waters the father of Dashaun, Keith, Jamel, Kevin, Patricia, Debra Waters and Wayne Pee. You may visit the family at 109 Middleton Ave. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday May 6, at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery. 

~ Obituary ~

Willie Waters (AKA) "Alvin" was born 06/13/1947. He was the youngest son of Zack & Earnestine Waters. Alvin was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.

Alvin lived in NJ for many years. He moved to Marion SC in the early 1980's. Alvin always loved living in the country. Once he moved to SC, Alvin worked & retired from Delta Mill.

He was predeceased by his parents, Zack & Earnestine Waters. 2 brothers, Robert Waters, Thomas Waters and Sisters Evelyn Williamson, Stepson Dennis Davis, Stepdaughter Erica Davis and Son in law Tyrone Franklin.

He met & married his first wife, Rita Waters. They had 3 children together: Deborah Waters, Patricia Franklin, Kevin (Valerie) Waters and Stepson Wayne Pee.

He later met & married Olena Waters. They were married for 34 years. They had  3 sons, Jemel Waters, Keith (La’Crystal) Waters & Dashaun Waters. 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, most nieces, nephews, & cousins He is also survived by his brother James Williams & Sister Yvette Waters.
