Willie Reels Obituary

Sister Willie Lois Reels was 69, and departed this life Sunday January 31, 2021 in Florence County. She was the mother of Quinn Reels (Deceased), Virron Reels and the aunt of Danielle Davis.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins. Services will be live streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

~ Obituary ~

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, Which the lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing”  II Timothy 4:7-8 

Willie Lois Reels was born October 1, 1951 in Marion, South Carolina to the late Willie and Laura Scott. 

 At a young age Willie Lois moved to Paterson NJ. Where she did baby sitting jobs until she became a mom and married Quinn Reels Jr in 1968 in that union came two sons Quinn III & Virron.  In 1986 Willie Lois became a widow. Willie Lois then worked for Caldor's department store until she moved back home to Marion County in 1998. Willie Lois then obtained a position in 2001 at Health Care Partners and  in 2014 She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at the Conway office until she retired in 2017. 

She departed this life Sunday, January 31,2021 At McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina 

She  was preceded in death by Her (Husband) Quinn Reels Jr, (Son) Quinn Reels III,  two Sisters Brenda Stevenson, Wanda Scott, one brother Marvin Scott and one Grandson Rahiem Hines.  

Willie Lois leave to cherish her fond and loving memories, one son: Virron Reels of Paterson New Jersey; four sisters, Carol Scott, Yolanda Robinson, Phyllis Scott all of Paterson New Jersey and  Cherry Brantley of Marion,  South Carolina; four brothers Joe Edward(Bobbi) Scott of Charlotte North Carolina, Calvin (Janice)Scott, Willie Scott both of Paterson, New Jersey and  Albert Rowell of Marion South Carolina; Willie Lois also leave to cherish her fond memories ten Grandchildren and ten Great-Grands; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

The family of Sister Willie Lois Reels in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Reels family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
