Willie Lee Gause

Bro. Willie Gause, 72, departed this life on Friday June 8, 2018 in Marion County. He was the husband of Barbara Gause, the father of Deloris Johnson, Darene Flemming, Geraldine Hemingway and Willie Gause Jr. You may visit the family at 7616 Castle Court, Gresham.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest in the Old Neck Cemetery, Britton's Neck.

Mr. Willie Lee Gause  the son of the late King Gause and Effie Dell was born on January 19, 1946. Willie Lee departed this life on Friday June 8, 2018

Willie Lee attended Bethel High School. He worked as a brick mason for many years. A lot of his work lies within this community. He was also a great mechanic. He was a member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior a few years ago.

Willie was preceded in death by one brother, Detroit Gause.

He leaves to cherish his memories a beautiful wife, Barbara Gause, to this union four children were born; Deloris (Sherwood) Johnson. Gereline Hemingway, Willie (Cheryl) Gause and Darene (Earl) Fleming, thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters; Darlene (Levern) Woodberry and Helene Gause, two brothers; Rev. James (Brenda) Gause and Mack Gause, seven sisters-in law; Eloise Finklea, Mamie Rogers, Lupearl Legette, Juanita Bacchus, Trudy Woodberry, Dorothy (Stanley) Anderson and Sylvia Moore, two brothers-in-law; Clyde Crosland and Ernest Legette, a host of nieces and nephews. Close friends that he cherished; Freddie L. Graves, Floyd Hemingway and Carl Hemingway.
