William Robinson Obituary

Brother William Lawrence Robinson was 75, and departed this life on Thursday August 27, 2020 in Florence County. He was the father of Lawrence Robinson, Debra Matthews, Mary Ann Robinson, Mary Lisa Devanne, Rose Marie Robinson and Jermaine Robinson. You may visit the family at 2519 Little Prophet Rd. Mullins.

Graveside services are schedule to be held the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery on Thursday September 3, 2020 at 11:00 am. The family will provide a guest list of 50 or less people. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

~ Obituary ~

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give u to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, dither shall any man placed them out of my hand. My father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my father’s hand. John 10:27-29

Mr. William L. Robinson was born June 22, 1945 in Marion, SC to the late Woodrow and iola Robinson of Marion.

He was educated in the Marion County School system. He was a welder for over 30t years.

Mr. William was united in marriage to the late Mary Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Robinson, his son Leon Robinson and brother Gary Lee.

Mr. William leaves to cherish is love and memories to his family; two sons: Lawrence Robinson of Marion, SC and Jermaine Robinson of Mullins, SC, three daughters; Mary Ann Robinson and Debra Matthews both of Mullins, SC, Rose Robinson of Greenville, SC and a step-daughter Lisa Devane of San Antonio Texas. Three sisters: Roberta Stackhouse, Ella Mae Cooper and Ruth Davis all of Marion, SC. eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Brother William Lawrence Robinson, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Robinson family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
