Brother William Lester Pee was 60, and departed this life Thursday March 16, in Florence County. He was the father of Melvin Brown, Tiera Pee, Brain Brunson and Briana Pee. The family will begin receiving friends on Sunday March 19, at 616 Mullins St. Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Wednesday March 22, at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery.

William Lester Pee departed this life early Thursday morning, March 16, 2023 after battling an illness that caused him to become a resident at Senior Care of Fork, South Carolina formerly known as Sunny Acres Nursing Home.
Williams was affectionally known as Boo, and he was a kind and soft spoken, loving person that loved sharing anything he had.
He received an education in the Marion County Public School system, and attended church from time to time at the House of God Church in Centenary, SC.
Before becoming unable to work he was employed with different companies one of which was the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Conway, SC, he loved this job the most.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe Lester Reaves & Minnie Lee-Pee, and his grandparent who raised him Julius Peter and Alberta Pee.
William was the second of five siblings raised by his grandparents.
William leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: His children, Melvin Brown of Lumberton, SC, Tieara & Briana Pee of Marion, SC, Brain Brunson of Myrtle Beach, SC, his five siblings, Glory Pee, Welton Pee, Angela (Sam) Johnson of Marion, SC and Sharon (Dave) Braxton of Baltimore, MD., Three grandchildren, Justyn Pee, Javier Pee and A’layah Wheeler. Maternal aunts Maxcine Brand, Hazel Lee Graves, and Deloris (Solomon) Dennard all of Deerfield Beach, FL. Maternal uncle, Percy (Betty) Pee, paternal aunts: Ester Ruth Swinton, Joyce Swinton, and Vinnie Ruth Swinton. Paternal uncle Henry Bud (Mary) Swinton, Charles Swinton and a host of other relatives and friends.
