William Eric Gee

Brother William Eric Gee was 49, and departed this life Tuesday February 4, 2020 in Columbia. He was the son of Jeanette Barr. You may visit the family at 909 Cooper St. Marion. 

Funeral services are scheduled to  be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Tuesday February 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery.

~ Obituary~

Williams Eric Gee was affectionately called "Boobie" or " Sleepy" by his family and friends. He was born Saturday, December 12, 1970 in Horry County. He was the son of Mrs. Jeanette Gee of Marion, SC and Willie Gee of Aynor, SC. William departed this life Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Columbia, SC.

Sleepy attended school in Marion and graduated with the Marion High School Class of 1989. He also drove school busses for the Marion School District. He worked various jobs in construction as well. His last job was working for Major Arthur Hemingway and Hemingway Tree Service in Columbia, SC . Boobie was known as being quiet and shy and a truly great all around guy. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. 

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving mother: Jeanette Davis Barr; father: Willie Gee; two sisters: Sonya Pressely of Florence, SC and Betty McRae of Bennettsville, SC; three brothers: Willie Early Gee of Marion, SC , Timothy Jerome Gee of Greenville, SC and Willis Gee of Conway, SC; two special nephews: Larry (Brittany) Pressley and Kenneth Pressley; special niece Lakisha Pressley; special cousins: Barbara Jackson of Virginia and Lue Clemmons: special friends: Dana Davis of Marion,SC; uncles: Sammy Lee (Hazel) Gee, Charles (Harriett) Gee, Jerry (Frances) Gause, Frank Gee, Cliffton Gee, Johnnie Davis, Willie Davis, Ernest Davis, Danny Davis; two aunts: Cora Lee Small and Deloris Gee and a host of cousins, friends and extended family.
