Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Florence National Cemetery on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Brother Vincent Gene Davis, he departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his home in Rains, SC. Born on April 20th, 1959 the youngest son of the late M.L. Davis Jr. and Freddie Mae Davis. Gene as he was called by family and friends,
He attended the Public Schools of Marion County, after completion of high school he joined the Army.
Brother Vincent leaves to cherish legacy of love and fond memories one son, Aaron Davis of San Diego, California, Two brothers, Alfonzo(Early) Davis of Pennsauken, New Jersey, Carl Eric(Vangie) Davis of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Margaret Crawford of Rains, SC.
Thirteen nieces and nephews, fourteenth great nieces and nephews, seven great-great nieces and nephews. A dedicated nephew Milton Leroy Bell and Alicia Skippers as his caregivers. A host of relatives, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death along with his parents: three sisters: Annie Mae Belton, Wanda Jones, and Barbara Ann Davis.
The Lord promises to bring his people “through the fire,” and to “refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them: I will say, “They are My people,’ and they will say, “The Lord is my God’ “ (Zechariah 13:9)
Even as we say farewell to our dear brother Gene, we have sorrow now. We hope to see you again and our hearts will rejoice and no one can take our joy from us.
The family of Brother Vincent Davis in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Davis family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
