Brother Tommie Lee Davis was 70, and departed this life Sunday November 15, 2020 at his home in Marion County. He was the father of Ronell Davis. You may visit the family 622 Lodge St. Marion, SC. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Monday November 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at the Tabernacle AME Church Cemetery. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

~ Obituary ~
Mr. Tommie Lee Davis, better known as "Tu Che" was born to the late Nathaniel and Mary Lee Davis on April 7, 1950 in the Friendship Community of Marion County, SC. Tommie departed this life on November 15, 2020 at his home.

Tommie was educated in the Marion County Public School System. After he attended Terrall's Bay High School he went on to graduate from Florence Darlington Technical College where he earned an electrician degree. Tommie Lee came to the "Big City of Marion" in the summer of 1963, where he began working for Bobby Lane Wood Products, the brick yard and Pee Dee Block.

In 1971, Tommie Lee was married to Bridgetta Williams of Marion. Tommie loved and enjoyed his family and friends, but most of all he loved his grands and great-grands. 

Those who proceeded Tommie Lee in death include his brother: Ronnie Davis and two grandchildren: Ronnie "Pete" Davis and April "Baby Girl" Davis.

Tommie Lee Davis leaves his memories with his two sons: Ronell (Brenda) Davis and Kevin (Angela) Davis both of Marion, SC; two grandchildren: Ja'Quanna (Anthony) McCormick and Devin Davis; three great-grandchildren: JaDarion, Summer and China B. McCormick; one special nephew: Enoch Burgess of Marion, SC; one special daughter: Yolanda Moore of Marion, SC and a host of other family and friends. 
 

The family of Brother Tommie Lee Davis, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Davis family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
