Tom Hickson Jr

Father Tom Hickson Jr. was 91, and departed this life Monday October 16, in Florence County. You may visit the family at 943 Jones Ave. Apt. C, Marion. He was the father and step father of Thomas Hickson, Willie C. Hickson, Ver'Quaouis Hatchell, Tom Hickson III, Martha Israel, James Barr, Raymond Hickson, Elaine Brantley, Clifton Israel, Clyde Israel, Russell Israel, Lillian Johnson, Cynthia Israel and Paul Hickson.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Monday October 23, at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery. 

“For we know if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with man hands, eternal in the Heavens.” 2Corinthians 5:1.

Mr.Tom Hickson Jr was born on November 9, 1931 to Mr. Tom Hickson and Mrs.Laura Ham(Hickson) of Marion SC. 

Mr. Tom Hickson had 3 wives, 6 sisters, 3 brothers, 1 daughter, 3 sons that preceded him in death.

Mr.Tom Hickson leaves to cherish his memory one sister Amelia Davis of New York and 14 children and step children, Thomas Hickson and Willie C Hickson both of Florence SC. Ver’Quaouis Hatchell of North Myrtle Beach and Tom Hickson the 3rd and Martha Israel both of Lexington SC.James Barr(Samantha),Raymond Hickson(Ila),Elaine Brantley, Clifton Israel, Clyde Israel,Russell Israel ,Lillian Johnson and Cynthia Israel all of Marion SC and Paul Hickson.

 Mr. Tom Hickson has 41 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; as well as great great great grandchildren. He also have a host of nieces and nephews and a very special caregiver Mrs. Shelia Barr.
