Stella White Obituary

Sister Stella Burns White, 65, departed this life Saturday July 6, 2019 in Florence County. She was the mother Diane Nichols, Darryl Burns, Kelvin Burns and Dimarko Burns. You may visit the family at 611 Oliver St. Marion. 

Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Friday July 12, 2019 at 11:00 am.

~ Obituary ~

Stella Burns-White was born in Shelby, Mississippi on September 6, 1953, the daughter of the late Marie Mosley Jones and George Burns, Sr. Stella departed this earthly life Saturday July 6, 2019 at the MUSC Health, Florence, South Carolina.

Stella attended Broad Street High School in Shelby, Mississippi. In her early years she moved to Chicago, Illinois. Later in her life she moved to Marion South Carolina where she resided until God called her home. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Stella was preceded in death by two brothers Robert Lee Dixon and Tommy Jones both from Chicago, Illinois.

Stella leaves to cherish her memories four children; Diane (Bobby) Nichols of Marion South Carolina, Darryl (Felicia) Burns of Marion South Carolina, Kevin (Cassandra) Burns of Chicago, Illinois and Dimarko (Shaurice) Burns of Chicago, Illinois, three sisters; Georgia Burns of Chicago, Illinois, Patricia Jones of Minnesota, and Velma (Tommy) Evans of Chicago, Illinois, four brothers; George ( Marilyn) Burns of South Haven, Mississippi, Freddie Jones of Rockford, Illinois, Michael Jones of Rockford, Illinois and McCharles Dixon of St. Louis, Missouri, fourteen grandchildren; Jessica Brown, Denise (Wisme) Predelus, Bobby Nichols, Jr., Shanise ( David)  Shelton, Shakira Nichols, Khyle Burns, Ciera Jones, Jadon Bowers, Jonathan Burns, Jasmune Burns, Kevin James Burns and Danesha Marshall, three great grandchildren; Peyton Shelton, Tianna Nichols an Jeremiah Nichols, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends along with three special friends; Wanda Nichols, Hattie Legette and Joyce Ann Brigman.
