Mother Sarah Daughtry, 85, departed this life on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Florence County. She was the wife of William "Chris" Daughtry.
Services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Friday January 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

SARAH J DAUGHTRY of Florence, South Carolina answered God’s call on Saturday, January 31, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 3, 1935 to the late Beatrice Stokes (Mother) and Willam Stokes (Father) who have preceded her passing,
She attended Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Inc.1333 Rev.Dr. AC Robinson Road, Marion South Carolina. Under the leadership of Dr. Alvin C. Robinson, Pastor. She worked as the church secretary and loyal servant. She was a graduate of Marion High School. After graduation she attended Cortez Peters Business School, Washington DC and obtained her Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration.
She leaves the following family members behind to carry the torch of life in her honor and memory -Husband: William Lorenzo Daughtry; Sons: Derrick Jerman - Marion SC, Gregory Jerman - Oklahoma, Stafford Green - Connecticut, Paul Edgerton- Fayetteville NC; Daughters: Valeri Jerman - Charlotte NC, Daphne Howard - Charlotte NC, Niece - Rosalyn and Kevin Hubbard Atlanta GA, Nephews: Ronald Robinson - New York, Anthony Robinson - New York, Sherwin Robinson, New York, Siblings: William Jackson-Stanton NC, Charles Bostic-Stanton NC, Jackie Bostic -Stanton NC, Linda Sample - Fayetteville NC, Lisa Anderson - Fayetteville NC, Debra Payne - Fayetteville NC, Veronica Moffitt - Fayetteville NC. Grandchildren: Derrick Raheim Jerman, Christopher Terrell Jerman, Nichelle Mecia Jerman, China Monae Daughtry, William Baron Daughtry Jr., Tierra Edgerton, Brandon Edgerton, Malcolm Edgerton, Paulanisha Edgerton-Daughtry, Paulanasha Edgerton-Daughtry, Shanice Ashley Stevenson. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who cherish her memory.
