Sarah Ann Acosta was called home to start her new and never-ending beginning Friday, December 14th, 2018.

Sarah Ann was the most loving, caring, spiritual, and nurturing woman set upon this Earth. She cared and provided for anyone and anything in need. Sarah Ann’s glowing spirit could always put a smile on your face. Her love for music and dancing could always get the party started. For those that didn’t know, Sarah Ann had a beautiful voice and she passed that trait onto a “few” of her children. Sarah Ann (cat lady) fed every cat on the block that came into her presence and named each of them. Sarah Ann’s cooking! “SWEET BABY JESUS”! Words cannot express the magic that woman can make happen in the kitchen!

Sarah Ann “IS” and will always be the true definition of a “Strong Black Woman”. She raised ten Children. Three daughters: Angela (Pandy) Acosta-Wynn, Cindy (Toni) Acosta (deceased August 2015), and Belinda (Pinky) Acosta. Seven Sons: Juan (Chen Chen) Jr. Acosta, Jerome (Magic) Acosta (deceased June 2012), Lenox (L.A.) Acosta, Eric (Car Wash) Acosta, Dexter (Sexy Dex) Acosta (deceased October 2018), Israel (Man-Man) Acosta, Joshua Acosta, and son-in-law Marco Wynn. Sarah Ann leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins who love her dearly. Sarah Ann filled our hearts with laughter and love. . "We cried when you passed away. We cry today still. Although we loved you dearly we couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best".
