“I can do all things through Christ who strengths me” Philippians 4 13

On July 16, 2021, Our beloved mother and grandmother Ruth B Foxworth, at the age of 85, received her calling from the Lord. Mother Ruth B Foxworth was born in Marion County on October 10, 1935, to the Late Flemming Sanders and Mattie Baker Sanders. Ruth received her education from the Marion County School District located at the Weeping School Building in the friendship community.

Ruth was a renaissance woman. To know Ruth, is to have loved her. She was known to be brave, fearless, and true to the heart. Ruth spoke her mind. You would not have to assume what she was thinking, Ruth would tell you. Ruth leaves a legacy of being devoted to her family and friends. One her favorite songs was “May the works I’ve done speak for me”. Ruth favorite scripture was Psalms 23. Ruth was employed by CraftTech of Latta SC for over fifteen years.  She could sew like the finest designers. Out of all the jobs Ruth had, she mostly enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

In holy matrimony to the Late Arthur Jr. Foxworth, Ruth B. Foxworth brought along two wonderful sons.

Mother Ruth B. Foxworth was preceded in death by both of her parents, her late husband Arthur Jr Foxworth, One Sister Emma Boatwright and five brothers: Rev Tilman Sanders, Arthur Sanders, Albert Sanders, Frank Sanders, and James Dorsey.

Ruth leaves to cherish our loving memories are her beloved sons Clarence (Gladys) Sanders, Jerome (Rev Diane) Foxworth, three sister’s Theresa Battle of Marion SC, Dorothy (Lee) Bartell of Effingham SC, and her twin sister Ruby Williams of Buffalo NY. Ruth has ten grandchildren, host of great grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who she loved and loved her too.

The family of  Mother Ruth B. Foxworth in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 100 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following.
