Mr. Ruben Daniel Heath Jr. was 52, and departed this life Tuesday July 14, 2020 in Florence County.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Henry L. Jackson Memorial Park on Sunday July 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm. The family will provide a guest list of 50 or less people. The services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Ruben Daniel Heath, Jr. departed this life 6:30am, Tuesday morning at McLeod Hospital. He was born to Reuben Daniel Heath Sr. and the late Doris Ann Heath in Newark, NJ. Ruben loved life and lived it to the fullest. He worked at Raytex, before becoming an entrepreneur. Having his very own towing company and construction business. He graduated from Terrels Bay High School. Ruben was quite the character; he loved his family and enjoyed racing and motor sports!
Proceeded in death: Doris Ann Heath(Mother), Ester & James Davis(Grandparents) & Donnie Lee Evans(Brother-in-Law).
He leaves to cherish: his father, Mr. Ruben Heath,Sr.; 3 children; Reginald McCollough(South Carolina), Nada Godbolt(South Carolina), and Joy(New Jersey). 5 siblings; 3 sisters: Darlene Grant(Joseph) of North Carolina, Danna Smith(Robin) of California, Deseree Heath(Donnie) of North Carolina and 2 brothers: Dwon Singletary of Florida and Jamahl Heath of Pennsylvania
 

The family of Mr. Ruben Daniel Heath Jr., in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Heath family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
