Robert White

The family of Father Robert White, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the White family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.

Father Robert White was 85, and departed this life on Tuesday May 12, 2020 in Florence County. He was the father of Frank White and Robert White Jr. You may visit the family at 513 Murray St. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday May 16, 2020 at 11:30 am. He will be laid to rest at the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion. The family will provide a guest list. Services will be lived steam on Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Mr. Robert White the son of the late James and Lelia Berry White was born on February 7, 1935 Marion, SC. Mr. White entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning May 12, 2020 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence SC after a brief illness. 

He joined Bethel United Methodist Church at an early age. 

Mr. Robert White was married to the late Nell Paige. To this union one son Robert White Jr. was born in Baltimore MD. 

He like looking at cowboy movies, fishing and cooking skins. Everyone called him the Cracklin Man.

Robert was preceded in death by three brothers; James and Eddie and Richard White and two sisters; Roberta White Brown and Lillian Berry.

Mr. White leaves to morn fond memories his sone Frank White, Marion SC, one sister Laura Jone, Mullins, SC, one sister-in-law Bessie Wilson, Marion SC, one daughter-in-law Johnnie Mae White, Marion SC,  four grandchildren;  Frankie Stackhouse, Marion, SC, Frank White Jr., Atlanta GA, Robert Jr. and Dejon White, Baltimore ZMD, twenty great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We love you Uncle Robert, but God loved you best. He wanted you home. Sleep on Robert sleep and take your rest.
