Funerals services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Wednesday July 28, 2021 at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

During the early afternoon of Wednesday, July 21, 2021, God saw fit to take all the pain away and carry Brother Robbie Lee Johnson away to be with Jesus.
Brother Robbie Lee Johnson was born on May 1, 1961 in Marion, SC to the late Luther and Louise Johnson. He was educated in the public schools of Marion, South Carolina. He attended Florence-Darlington Technical College where he received an Associate’s degree. He worked for the City of Marion for 38 years in the Department of Recreation where he retired in 2017. He joined the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at a young age under the Leadership of the late Dr. Reverend Henry McGill Jr.
Brother Robbie Lee Johnson was very kind hearted. He loved to joke, laugh and to make others laugh. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his daughter Shayriah. His passion was working with kids at Grice’s Recreation Center.
He was preceded in death by Father and Mother -in -law David and Leola Eaddy, Sister- in- law Patricia Eaddy Thomas, Brother- in -laws David Eaddy Jr, Herman Eaddy and brother- in- law Preston Farmer.
Those left to cherish the fond and loving memories of Brother Robbie Lee Johnson ~ His Ex-Wife Sara Eaddy, his daughter Shayriah Johnson and stepson Donovon Eaddy, His sister Daisy Roach, Sister -in -Laws, Ernestine Farmer of Marion, SC, Mardestine (Simon) Johnson of Lynchburg, SC, Laura Eaddy (Kenneth Fling) and Shirby Eaddy of Marion SC, Brother-in- law Clarence Eaddy of Charlotte, NC. Two granddaughters Alexandra Eaddy and Ava Johnson. Neice Idella Dingle of Columbia, SC and Nephew David Owens of Greensville, SC and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
The family of Brother Robbie Johnson in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 100 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Johnson family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
