Renee Davis Inman

Renee Davis Inman was born on June 5, 1963 to Hazel Davis and the late Preston Davis in Brooklyn, NY. She departed this life peacefully on April 19, 2021 at home. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 12:00 noon. She will be laid to rest at the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery. 

At an early age, Renee’s family moved relocated to Mullins, SC, where she was educated in the public school system and graduated from Mullins High School in 1981. Renee later moved to Trenton, NJ, where she remained a lifelong resident. She continued her educated at Thomas Edison State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. 

Renee was employed by Trenton Head Start (currently, Children’s Home Society). 
She was active in several organizations, including The Order of the Eastern Star, High Rollers, and Gents & Gems. 

Renee was ray of sunshine to everyone. She had a bold personality and was the life of the party. Her heart was pure and she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. Renee was a reliable friend and confidant. She would always help others that were in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Renee was predeceased by her father, Preston Davis; and a special friend, Gail “Pookie” Jiles. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her husband, Stanley Inman; mother, Hazel Davis; two children, Alisha Davis and Stanley Davis; two stepchildren, Jejuan Davis and April Davis- Fenderson (Khary); her grandchildren, Khyzir Davis, Josiah Davis, Stanley Davis, Jr., Jayohni Davis, Talanni Davis, Sayevon Gofan, Sayenni Gofan, Khary Fenderson, Jr., Ava Fenderson, Ari Fenderson, Janiyah Davis, Jakiyah Davis, Jejuan Davis,Jr., and a bonus grandson, Camauri Brittingham; two brothers, Laverne Davis and Anthony Davis (Gloria); three sisters, Michelle Davis, Marie Davis, and Christina Davis; five nephews, Cortney Davis (Ashley), Allen Davis, Kendrick Davis, Antwan Davis, and Anthony Davis, Jr.; five nieces, Samira Owens, Harmony Davis, Marenza Davis, Crystal Davis, and Tarsha Lewis; her mother-in-law, Joyce Davis; two sisters-in-law, Trena Moody and Vena Williams; three brothers-in-law, Michael Inman, Kevin Jiles, and Paul Jiles; her longtime friends, Ella Campbell, Martiniquan White, Damarys Matos, Wanda Snow, and Deborah Brantley; her godson, Zaire Busch; two bonus daughters, Shikeema Ortiz and Tia Giddens; and a host of other relatives and friends.
