Patricia Ann (Fore) Legette

Patricia Ann Fore Legette was born April 27, 1933, in Dillon County, South Carolina. Pat was the eighth child born to her parents EC Fore Sr. and Mahalia Jones-Fore. 

Pat departed this earthly life of 89 years on May 9, 2022, at MUSC Medical Center, Mullins, SC.

She graduated with the class of 1951, Marion County Training School. From farming as one of the best of the best Tobacco Stringers, as life carried on, Pat completed 35 years as Supervisor at So Packo Inc. Mullins, SC. She was a member of New Mt. Zion AME Church, Sellers, SC.

Mama Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Sidney Legette, Sr. 4 children out of 7 children: Milton Legette, McKeiver Legette, Samuel Legette, and Joe Nathaniel Legette. Siblings; Carlyle Fore, Tracey Fore, Helen Lemons, Virginia Evans, Lena Legette, and Ethel T. Clark (NC).

Mama Pat leaves to cherish precious memories: Sidney C. Legette Jr., Clifton (Jacque) Legette, Darlene Legette-Nickerson, Bonus son, Murray Legette Jr. all of Marion, SC., bonus siblings from EC Fore Sr.: Helen D. Fore, Bobby Jean Thomas, (NC), Charles Fore, (SC), Arrie Cole, (NC), Alice Simpson, (NC), Margarette J. Fore, (SC), one brother-n-law Zeno (Shirley) Legette, NJ, sister-in-law Annette (Bobby) Lane. Twenty-six grandkids, a host of great-grands, great-great-grands, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends, very special friends indeed Hannah Ford and Bill Nelson.

Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the St. Phillips United Methodist Church Cemetery on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

The family of  in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community,  will hold a 100 person or less funeral service for their loved one with interment immediately following. While the { deceased last name} family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
