~ Obituary ~

Pamela Faye Godbolt, 42 of Marion entered into eternal peace on April 15, 2021 in Charleston, South Carolina. Pam was the daughter of Robert and Virgina Godbolt and the maternal granddaughter of the late Edward and Louise Patterson, all of Marion South Carolina.

Pam was born February 14, 1979 in Marion, South Carolina. She graduated from Terrell’s Bay High School in 1999 being an exemplary student as the recipient of the President’s Award, an A-B Honor Roll Student, and she excelled in all of her studies. She started working as a cashier at McDonald’s in Marion and soon after promoted to shift manager. She worked as a manager for over 17 years. After deciding she wanted a change, she began working at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a PDA where she left a mark in so many lives.

Pam was kind -hearted, who loved to laugh and those who knew her could remember her by her big smile. She was a “momma’s girl”, she helped anyone who were in need and she brought you and laughter wherever she went. We will remember her as a God fearing, beautiful and humbled person.

Pam was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward & Louise Patterson, two special aunts; Bertha Thomas of New York, Dorothy Younger of Baltimore, Maryland, Susan Smith of Marion, SC, and Magoline Williamson.

Pam leaves to cherish her parents Robert & Virginia Godbolt of Mullins, four sisters; Felicia Godbolt, Karen Godbolt of Mullins, SC, Robin Godbolt , Tina Godbolt of Marion, SC, two brothers; Robert Jr. Godbolt and Johnathan Godbolt of Marion, SC, two nieces; Malia Brown and Briana Graham of Marion, SC, one nephew Jamar Reaves of Mullins, SC, two special teachers and family friend; Shelia Zollicoffer of Mullins, SC and Beryl Collington of Marion, SC, two special friends; Clayton Sellers and Edward Brown of Marion, SC, six aunts, uncles, a host of relatives, cousins and friends.

The family of Sister Pamela Godbolt in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Godbolt  family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions.
