Little Miss Natalie Shy'maine Crawford was 15 and departed this life Friday, February 5, 2021, in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of Nathaniel and Clarisa Crawford. Due to the pandemic, the family will not be receiving visitors at the home, but they ask for your continued prayers and calls.
Please note the change of location due to rain: Chapel services are scheduled to be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel, 612 S. Main Street, Marion, SC. Burial will follow in the Greater Singletary AME Church Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Natalie was born in Florence, South Carolina. She resided in Prosperity, South Carolina to the parents of Nathaniel and Clarisa Crawford.
She was educated at Mid Carolina High School where she was elected on the Beta Academic Club. Natalie was a A-B honor roll student, yearly. Natalie was entered into advanced courses in school to challenge herself to be and become her best. Natalie was a very intelligent and humble individual who respected others and respected for all that knew and loved her. She was a loyal and dedicated friend. To know Natalie was to absolutely love her.
Natalie was preceded in death by her grandfather Nathaniel Dewitt Crawford, Effingham, South Carolina.
Natalie leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her mother Clarisa Crawford of the home; her father Nathaniel S. Crawford of Effingham, SC; her siblings Melanie C. Crawford, Florence, SC; two brothers Nathaniel I. Crawford of the home and Jachym Williams of Columbia, SC. Maternal grandparents Tina A. Crawford, Marion, SC, Ronnie C. Crawford, Anderson, SC. paternal grandparents Anna (Cornell) Hemingway of Effingham, SC, Janie Mae Crawford of Florence, SC. One niece Nevaeh Wilson of Florence, SC. One great-grandmother Corine Green, Effingham, SC. Two special friends Tevin Watts and Kanajio Edwards and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
The family of Little Miss Natalie Shy'maine Crawford in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Crawford family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
