Sis. Nancy A. Reed was 64, and departed this life Wednesday January 6, 2021 in Marion County. She was the mother of John Reed, Lakeisha Reed, Rahmel Reed and Danasia Reed. You may visit the family at 1003 B. Rosewood Drive, Marion.
Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery, Centenary, SC on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at 2:30pm.

Nancy Anne Reed, loving wife, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend departed her earthly body to be with her maker on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Nancy was born on December 15, 1956, in Marion County to W.C. Davis & the late Daisy Bell Reed.
Nancy was a graduate of Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn, New York. She was employed in the retail industry for over 15 years. Nancy will be most remembered for her laughter, willingness to help others, and Sunday dinners. Nancy met no strangers and was blessed with the spirit of giving even if it was her last. She enjoyed playing computer games and talking to family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her legacy, a husband, John Carr; loving daughters, Lakeisha Reed and Danasia (Kevon) Pascal; her two devoted sons, John Reed, Rahmel (Charmaine) Reed; grandchildren, Tiauna Reed, D’Azah Smith, Chanel Prichett, Corde’ Miller, Cortrell Miller, Kashmiere Pascal, Rahmel Reed, Jr, Micah Reed and preceded in death by Ralik Reed. She is also survived by sisters, Annie (Darryl) Reed, Barbara Reed, Yvonne Reed, Lisa Reed, Veronica Bethea, Amy Boatwright, Linda (Chris) Phillips, Kellann Davis, Martha Christian, Marilyn Isreal, Vera (James) Isreal, Diane (Aaron) Clayton, and preceded in death by Trenda Davis; brothers, Jerome (Dawn) Reed, Willie (Lisa) Davis, Willie (Bevely) Davis, Edward (Leonia) Green, Kenny (Ava) Davis and preceded in death by Edward Williams, and a devoted special friend and a host of other family and friends.
The family of Sis. Nancy A. Reed, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Reed family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
