Minister Rose Scott Williamson

 Minister Rose Scott Williamson was 63, and departed this life Thursday March 5, 2020 in Florence County. She was the wife of Robert Lee, the mother of Joey Scott, Corey Scott, Bryant Scott, Rico Scott and Retonika Blair. You may visit the family at 4235 Grady Rd. Mullins in the Rains Community.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Door of Hope Christian Church, Saturday March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Mullins. 

~ Obituary ~

Minister Rose Scott Williamson was born on June 13, 1956 to the late Bishop and the late Minnie Agnes Scott. She departed her life on March 5, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center after a brief illness. 

She was educated in Horry County Public Schools. She attended Horry Georgetown Technical College where she studied nursing. She later attended Florence Darlington Technical College where she furthered her education in nursing. She became a member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church where she was licensed as a Minister by Rev. Dr. Norman Gamble. She later reunited back to Door of Hope Christian under Bishop Micheal Blue, where she remained until her death. 

She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Robert Lee, four sons; Joey (Renee) Scott, Corey (Libby) Scott, Byrant Scott, Rico Scott, one daughter; Retonika (Corey) Blair. Sixteen grandchildren; Corey Jr., Justus, Joy, Ja’Leyiha, Jazarah, Julian, Prince, Raekwon, Malachi, Aniyah, Novalee, Destiny, Jaquan, Jericho, Chandler and Rosebella. Seven sisters; Sarah White, Daisy Smith, Minister Resia Henry, Lucille Scott, Mazell Robinson, Pauree Compton, Mamie Braithwaite, four brothers; Rudolph (Gladys) Scott, Clay (Laura) Scott, Leroy Scott, Lyndon Scott, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
