Sister Mildred Campbell was 68, and departed this life Saturday February 22, 2020 in Florence County. She was the mother of Amy Godbolt and Charles Campbell and the sister of Belisha Graves.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Tabernacle AME Church Saturday February 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at the Old Ford Cemetery.

Mildred Davis Campbell, daughter of the late Isiah Davis and Daisy Rowell Davis, was born May 22,1951 in Gresham, SC.
Mildred D. Campbell attended the public schools of Marion County and graduated from Terrell’s Bay in 1969. While in high school, Mildred drove the school bus. Dedicated and hard-working Mildred went on to attend college in Philadelphia, PA and became employed with the Philadelphia Public School District where she later retired. In 1970, Mildred fell in love and married Mr. Charles Campbell, Sr. on February 13.
Although Mr. Campbell proceeded Mildred in death, they had two beautiful children: Amy A. Godbolt and Charles J. Campbell Jr.
Mildred leaves to cherish her memory her two children: Amy A. Godbolt and Charles J. Campbell Jr. (Regina Blackwell) adoptive son, Leon S. Campbell and her significant other Moses Gibson. Amy and Charles Jr. gave Mildred five lovable grandchildren: Ashley Davis, Rashaun Hemingway, Marcus Godbolt, Malik and Montez Blackwell of Marion, SC. Left also with fond memories are Mildred’s sisters: Laristine Godbolt, Donna Davis, Judy Watts, Eartha Vereen, and Belisha Graves (Michael) along with brothers Isiah and Elizabeth Davis Jr. and Alton and Linda Davis. Eight great- grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews who she inspired.
