Sister Margaret Gause, age 78, departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Florence County. She was the wife of Daniel Gause and the mother of Larry Gause.  

Service arrangements are scheduled for 1:00pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Pentecostal United Churches of Christ Apostolic, Inc., 4430 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC 29506.

~ Obituary ~

Mother Margaret S. Turpin Gause departed this earthly life to receive her eternal reward with Christ on Monday, December 16, 2019 at MUSC in Florence, South Carolina.  She was born on August 16, 1941 to the late Mary Banks and Frank Williams of Kenbridge, Virginia.

Margaret was educated in the Virginia Public Schools System in Kenbridge, Virginia.

Margaret worked for Softee Supreme in Mullins, South Carolina for many years as a line worker. She was married to Daniel James Gause for forty plus years and to this union they were blessed with one son, Larry Devon Gause.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Banks and Frank Williams; ten siblings, one aunt and one child as she reared as her own: Derica Graves.

Margaret leaves to cherish her love ~ her husband: Daniel J. Gause of Britton’s Neck, SC; a son: Larry (Denise) Gause of Britton’s Neck, SC; two step-daughters: Stacey E. Jones of Austell, GA and Trina Woodberry of Socastee, SC; one brother: James Turpin of Syracuse, NY; one sister: Louise Williams of Kenbridge, VA; four sisters-n-law: Isabel Gause of Zion, SC, Goldan Woodberry, Lorraine Woodberry, Ella Mae Barr all of Gresham, SC; two brothers-n-law: Isiah Barr of Gresham, SC and Rev. Pearlie Gause of Norfolk, VA; seven grandchildren: Jada Gause of Charlotte, NC, Diondra Woodberry, Danielle Gause and Andrale Robinson all of Gresham, SC, Antonio Gause of Boston, MA, Brandon Greene of Chicago, Ill and James Collins of Chesapeake, VA; four step-grandchildren: Stephon Jones and Daquan Jones both of Austell, GA, Devonte Woodberry and Dejonte Woodberry both Socastee, SC; five great grandchildren: Raylyn Eaddy, Mariah Gause, Dyani Hemingway, Shamiya Cotton both of Gresham, SC, Iyanna Gause of Boston, MA; one step- great grandson: Naeem Jones of Austell, GA, four children she reared as her own: Rev. Russell Graves of GA, Cindy Graves, Denise Graves and Willie Graves Jr. all of Gresham, SC, Shante Self of Marion, SC; her special friends: Charles (Lizzy) Johnson, Marin (Joseph) Frierson, Cordie Davis, Maria Acevedo, Herman Grant, Lillian Crawford, Shirley Douglas, Ms. Jones, Ms. Joyce, Earnestine Page, Rose Parker and Bishop Kenneth Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and, other friends.
