Mother Lena Bell Robinson, 94, departed this life Sunday May 5, 2019 in Marion County. She was the mother of Edward Robinson, Roosevelt Robinson, James Robinson, Willis Robinson, Lily Bell McNeil, Pricella Dunson and Rosa Fore. You may visit the family at 735 Ridgeview Rd. Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Greater Highway Church of Christ, Marion Saturday May 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

Mother Lena Bell Robinson was the daughter of the late London and Bessie Willis. She was born in Marion County on October 4, 1924. She departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at MUSC Marion Medical Center.
Mother Robinson was educated in the Marion County Public Schools. She was united in holy wedlock to the late Paul Robinson, Sr. Eight children were born from this union.
Mother Robinson was a faithful and active member at the Greater Highway Church of Christ, Marion, South Carolina until her health declined. Mother Robinson loved her church family. She had a ministry of giving. When it came to her church, she would give her last.
Mother Robinson was a lovely mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with and around family.
Mother Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Paul Robinson, Sr., one son Jerry Robinson, her parents: London and Bessie Willis, three brothers: McNeil Willis, McRoy Willis and King Solomon Willis, three sisters: Lillie Mae Davis, Rosiner Rogers Woodberry and Lou Sadie Gerald.
Mother Robinson leaves to cherish fond memories four sons: Willis Robinson of Miami, Florida, Roosevelt (Ellen) Robinson of Apopka, Florida, Edward (Angela) Robinson of Hamer, South Carolina and James Robinson of Marion, South Carolina, three daughters: Rosa Fore, Lily McNeil of Marion, South Carolina and Pricella (William) Dunson, of Hamer, South Carolina: twenty grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren; one brother, London (Flora Mae) Willis, Pauleve Jones of Mullins, South Carolina and Dora Brown of Britton’s Neck, South Carolina.
Mother Robinson was blessed with many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that are too numerous to name.
