Sister Leanae White Williams was 73, and departed this life Tuesday February 16, 2021 in Florence County. She was the mother of Cheryl Williams, John Williams and Eric Williams. You may visit the family at 403 Reaves St. Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Wednesday February 24, 2021 at 11:00 am with interment at the Florence National Cemetery. Services will be live-steamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Leanae Williams departed this life Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Mcleod Medial Center of Florence Sc. She was the Daughter of the Late Ethel and Vilest White.

Leanae was born in Centenary, Sc on June, 22 1947
A Time To Grow
Leanae was a 1967 graduate of Terrell’s Bay High School in Centenary SC. Leanae was employed for 35 years with Sara Lee Hosiery, and another 12 years with Wal-Mart #1829 Marion, SC.
At an early age she was converted and became a member of the Good Hope AME Church in Centenary, SC. She served as the Steward Pro Temp, the President of the Senior Usher Board, Class Leader, member of the Missionary Society and a member of the Senior Choir. Leanae was a member of the Peprople Benevolent Society of South Carolina Blue Star Lodge where she served on the Finance Committee.
She was it in Holy Wedlock to the late Mr. John Williams Sr, to this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild the late Mr. Jawan Gregg, two sisters Josephine White and Adeline Mcfadden, one brother Henry White.
She Leave to cherish fond memories one daughter Cheryl Williams of Florence, Sc two sons, John T Williams Jr of Columbia, Sc, Eric Williams of Nichols Sc, one brother Robert (Diane) White of Marion Sc, three Sisters Dorethea Ellis of Mullins Sc, Roberta White and Christine Brunson both of Centenary Sc, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Two special friends Ms. Frances Louise Green of Rains, Sc and Ms. Mary McFarland of Mullins, SC.
The family of Sister Leanae White Williams in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Williams family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
