Sister Latonya Moore Austin, 43, departed this life Tuesday April 16, 2019 in Florence County. She was the wife of Terry Austin.

Wake services will be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Sunday April 21, 2019, 6pm-8pm, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority will be in charge of rites.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Bethel AME Church, Britton's Neck Monday April 22, 2019 at 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Williams Cemetery, Gresham, SC.

Latonya Moore-Austin was born on May 15, 1975 in Marion, South Carolina to Lois Jean Gause and Marvin Dozier. She departed this earthly life on April 16, 2019.

Latonya was a Wife, Christian, Mother, Aunt, Friend, Educator and proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Tonya was passioante about seeing the good in everybody and often took it upon herself to improve the lives of others no matter the cost.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Dozier; brother, Fabbian Dozier; grandparents: Haskell Moore, Pearlie Mae Dozier, and Burel Dozier.

Latonya leaves behind her loving husband Terry Austin; one daughter: Lateisha Austin; two sons: Tyrique Austin and Teon Austin; five siblings: Valerie Lewis (Kerwyn) of Kissimee, FL; Keith Dozier (Tami) of Pee Dee, SC; Laquinn Woods (Freddie) of Marion, SC; Danita Green (Travon) of Charleston, SC; Andrey Gause of Charleston, SC; parents: Lois Jean Gauseof Britton’s Neck, SC; James Jerome Gause of Hemingway, SC; Lucille Dozier of Friendship, SC; grandparents: Louris B. Moore of Gresham, SC; two sister-in-laws, Adele Davis and LaQuandra Stevens of Bishopville, SC; special friends Angie Gause of Gresham, SC and Tonya Gordon of Bishopville, SC; special cousin Lachristy Moore of Marion, SC; special aunt Patricia Dozier of Marion, SC and a host of other relatives, friends, and co-workers.
