Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday October 3, 2020 at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at the Old Neck Cemetery, Britton's Neck. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Larry D. Gause departed his earthly life on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at MUSC in Florence, SC. He was born on July 27, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York to Daniel Gause and the late Margaret Gause.
Larry attended the public schools in Britton’s Neck and was a 1988 graduate. He was employed with Landmark Resorts and Ocean Dunes Resorts in Myrtle Beach, SC, Wellman, Industries in Johnsonville, SC, he was a member of the Jackson and McGill staff. His final employment was with Comforting Hearts and Loving Arms Home Care.
Larry was a member of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served on usher board # 2 and #4, was a member of the Young Adult and Male Choirs. His favorite song was “Kneel Down at the Cross.”
Larry was preceded in death by his mom, Margaret and his grandparents. He was united in holy matrimony to Cynthia Gause for 29 years and to their union, they were blessed with three daughters.
Larry leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: his beloved wife, Cynthia of the home; daughters; Diondra Woodberry (Tyrone) and Danielle Gause (Cameron) of the home, Jada Gause (Jimmy) of Charlotte, NC; and Andrale Robinson of Britton’s Neck, SC; Father; Daniel Gause of the home and Mother-in-law Mazie Woodberry of Gresham, SC. Grandchildren; Raylyn Eaddy and Mariah Gause of the home, Dyani Hemingway and Shamiya Cotton of Britton’s Neck, SC; Sisters; Stacey E. Jones of Bennettsville, SC and Trina Woodberry of Socastee, SC. He was also the father of two sons. One brother-in-law; Kevin (Deloris) Woodberry; four Aunts, two uncles, and four nephews. Five special friends: Karen Hemingway, Mitchell Graves, Shuler (Mary Lou) Graves, and Rev. Russell (Danielle) Graves. One special cousin that was like a sister, Shalandra B. Davis of Gresham, SC. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family of Brother Larry D. Gause in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Gause family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
