LB Riggins

Brother LB Riggins was 62, and departed this life Sunday March 26, in Wilmington, NC. He was the special friend of Haywood Brooks, the brother of Bernice Riggins, Louise ( Willie Mack) Williamson, Chris (Victor) Long, Mary Crawford, Tryfenner Gerald, Fannie Nichols, Jerome Riggins and Richard (Lisa) Riggins. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday April 1, at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery.

“I have fourth at good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Mr. LB Riggins entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Novant Health Center in Wilmington, NC.

He was born January 26, 1961 to Fred and Tenner Riggins. LB was a gradual of Aynor High School in Aynor, SC, he attended Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC. He was employed at New Hanover Regional Medical Center for many years as a supervisor in Environmental Services and as an Anesthesia Technician. He also worked at Novant Health Center as an Anesthesia Technician in Supply, NC. He later attended Truck Driving School in Jacksonville, NC, where he received his CDL’s. He was also employed with CRST Trucking Company.

LB leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories; special friend Haywood Brooks and one Godson Judson Fletcher, god daughter Ashantia Brooks. His siblings Tryfenner Gerald, Mary Crawford and Louise (Willie Mack ) Williamson all of Marion, SC, Fannie Nichols of Wilmington, NC, Bernice Riggins of Florence, SC, Christain R.  (Victor) Long of Conway, SC, Jerome Riggins and Richard (Lisa) Riggins both of Aynor, SC, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves to cherish a special mom, Ella Brooks and sister Melissa Brooks of Bolton, NC and Gregory Davis, caregiver. Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Hines and the staff at Wilmington Health Association for the care and love you showed LB During his illness.
