Brother Johnny L. (Papa John) Bethea departed this life on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Florence, SC. He is survived by his wife Bernice Thomas, children: Louis Jenkins, Jr., Veronica (Dajuan) Thomas-Weems, Sandra (Rodney) Barnes, Letticia (Christopher) Graham, and Ishama Blackshear (Jennifer Jennings). Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Jackson & McGill Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Smithboro Cemetery in Zion, SC.
