Brother James Levon Ransom was 55, and departed this life Monday October 5, 2020 in Florence County. He was the brother of Teresa Wilson, Kelly Green, Lisa Green, Michael Green, Michael L. Green and Tammie Todd.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Sunday October 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

James Levon Ransom (Peadot) was born to the late Annie Ruth Williams and Michael Lee Green Sr. on July 2, 1965.
James attended Marion High School, he was in the class of 1983. He worked several years as an assistant/handyman at Causey’s Flooring in Marion, SC.
James leaves to cherish his fond loving memories his sisters Teresa R. Wilson of Marion, SC, Kelly Green, Elizabethtown, NC, Tammie Todd of Mullins, SC, Lisa Green, Charlotte, NC; three brothers; three aunts, Annie Mae Grice, Maggie Roberts, and JoAnne Reaves all of Marion, SC. Three godchildren Tamara, Bennie, and Butler Wilson. A special friend Dell Davis; close friends Willie Davis (Cat) and McIntyre Rowell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
The family of Brother James Levon Ransom, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Ransom family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
