Obituary

Brother James Lacy Bethea Sr. was 74, and departed this life Tuesday August 29, at his home in Marion County. He was the husband of Mary S. Bethea. You may visit the family at 1900 Wilmuth St. Marion. The family will be receiving guest 2pm-8pm each evening.

Due to the storm, the service location is changed from CD Joyner Auditorium to St. John AME Church. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the St. John AME Church on Tuesday September 5, at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Florence National Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and masks are required during visitation and funeral services.
