Bro. Jackie Moody, 67, departed this life Sunday May 19, 2019 in Florence County. He was the husband of Veveria Moody. You may visit the family at 5247 Highway 41-A, Centenary, SC.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Centerville Baptist Church, Centenary, SC , Sunday May 26, 2019 at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins.

Mr. Jackie Moody departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 9:30am In the MUSC Hospital, Florence, South Carolina.
He was born on December 13, 1951 in Marion, South Carolina to Lula Moody and the late Haskell Moore. He worked at Marion County District One School System upon retiring 28 years. He also worked at Marion County Hospital and Belk's Department Store upon closing. During his spare time, he would work with Ms. Judy Baker at her floral shop. Mr. Moody was a member of the True Light of Zion Masonic Lodge #399. He was a man of faith who attended church regularly. He will be missed dearly from his love ones, community and church members.
He was joined In Holy Wedlock to Veveria (Cookie) Moody, together they had two children; Candice Beanna Moody and Rederick Levern Moody both preceded him in death.
To cherish fond memories, of a life well spent, he leaves wife Veveria Moody of the home, his mother Lula Moody of Marion, South Carolina, siblings; Dessie Mae Moore of Hartsville, SC, Willie Pee Ceaser of Brooklyn, NY, Freddie Lee Moore of Marion, SC, Lois Jean Gause of Britton's Neck, SC, Samuel (Carolyn) Moore of Salibury, NC, Jannie (Dennis) Rowell of Marion, SC, Jetrow (Starletta) Moody of Marion, SC, Griffeth Moody of Marion, SC, Russell( Violet Holmes) Moody of Tavern Va., Ozella Gause of Latta, SC, Connie Moody of Marion SC, two sisters-in-law, Gloria W. Wilkins, Pamela (Tony) Horton, one brother-in-law; Hezekiah (Debra) Williams, host of nieces and nephews. Special friends; Mrs. Judy Baker and family; Jerome Reed; Donald Smith; Charles Davis, George Forgan.
