Mother Iline Davis Legette, 85, departed this life on Friday, August 27, 2021 in Livingston, New Jersey.
She leaves to cherish all her memories her daughter Cassandra Legette, her son Cleveland Legette Jr.(Donna )Her devoted caring granddaughter Hassonah Alnisa Legette (Ahmed )Washington, her devoted grandson Keon Legette, and Kayla Legette all of Maplewood, New Jersey, Candice Noel of Newark, New Jersey, Sabeerah Washington of Albany, New York. Two great-grandchildren Dillan Washington who she adored dearly and Chelsea Washington who she also adored all of Maplewood, New Jersey. A special friend of the family Connie Haughton. Iline also leaves to cherish her twin sister Earline Rogers of Irvington, New Jersey, Julie(Henry)Miller and Jewell Walker of both Newark, New Jersey, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to cherish and celebrate her light and memories.

Funeral services for Mother Iline Davis Legette are scheduled to be held Sunday, September 5, 20211 in the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel at 3 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Old Neck Cemetery of Britton's Neck, SC.

In consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, the family of Mother Iline Davis Legette and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Legette family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
