Hubert Lamar Hardnett

Brother Hubert Lamar Hardnett was 42, and departed this life Friday January 6, 2023 in North Carolina. He was the son of Angela Legette and Donald Hardnett. You may visit the family at 6248 Rosedell Court, Mullins.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Saturday January 14, at 2:30 pm. He will be laid to rest at Carmichael Cemetery, Mullins. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

On Friday, January 6, 2023, during the early morning hours, brother Hubert L Hardnett was called home to be with the Lord.

On July 06, 1980, he entered the world to Angela Mullins Hardnett and the late Donald M. Hardnett SR. He attended the public school system of Marion County, South Carolina. He was employed by Smithfield in Tarheel, NC.

Hubert had a passion for music. He enjoyed fishing and working with electronics.

Hubert was preceded in death by his father Donald M. Hardnett SR. His paternal grandparents Charles and Annie Bell Hardnett and his maternal grandparents Hubert and Justine Mullins.

Hubert leaves to cherish fond memories: His mother Angela M. Legette of Mullins, SC. Two brothers Timothy (Rosa) Mullins of Marion SC, and Donald (Magdalene) Hardnett Jr. of Marion, SC. His loving companion Stephanie Spivey of Mullins SC. Six aunts, two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family of Brother Hubert Lamar Hardnett in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community,  will hold a 100 person or less funeral service for their loved one with interment immediately following. While the Hardnett family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
