Mother Gladys Barr Sheppard was 94, departed this life Wednesday August 9, in Marion County. She was the mother of Mary Rogers Davis, James Barr, Isiah Barr, Shirley Allison, Barbara Sheppard, Willie Pearl Sheppard, Willie Sheppard Jr., Levern Sheppard and step-mother of Denise Burgess. You may visit the family at 2329 Highland Park Court, Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Marion on Saturday August 26, at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery.
