Brother Frank Robinson was 78, and departed this life Tuesday January 28, 2020 in Gastonia, NC. He was the father of Stephanie Robinson-Lasane, Frank Robinson, and Stephen Walker III.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Sunday February 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
Public viewing will be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Sunday February 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
~ Obituary ~
Mr. Frank was born on May 14th, 1941 and entered to eternal rest on Tuesday January 28th, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. He was the beloved son to the late Taft and Sally Robinson.
He attended the public schools of Chesterfield County, SC during his childhood. His lifetime of employment included Agricultural Farming, Mullins Leaf, SoPaco, and he was an Independent Construction Liaison, all in SC. He was also a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Mullins during his adult life here in Marion County.
Mr. Frank was a lifetime member of the Wildlife Action Association and a very Active Fisherman. His love for fishing was a passion of leisure time for him and a one we all knew he loved so well.
He leaves to Cherish are his children; Family of his home in Gastonia, NC; Daughter “His Baby” Stephanie (Joe) Lasane, Grandchildren; Jowon, Chelcie & Omarr Lasane and Nephew, Kenneth “Ray” Raysor.
Son, Frank (Ann) Robinson Jr., Hendersonville NC and, Stephen Walker III, Mullins, SC.
Shnette (Yashen) Damon, Yvonne (Randy)Simmons, LaTis Vance, Loretta Warren, Shanetta Walker, Cornelia Eddings, Tiera Eddings, Anthony Eddings, Hikki Eddings; All Grands reared in the homes of ~Frank and Louise~
Sisters, Libb (Carolin) Gasket, Lila (Schofield)Hemingway; Brothers George (Lillian) Robinson, Larry (Betty Jo) Robinson and Adam (Gwen) Robinson. Sisters-in-law; Lillian Raysor, Peggy Jean Robinson, Janice Raysor , one brother in law; Julius Raysor.
Preceded in death and forever in our hearts are his children; Thornell Walker, Jeanette “Terry” Eddings and Councel Lee Walker III, his brothers and sisters; Eulah “Blue” Robinson, Aaron “Jack Snapper” Robinson, Tom Robinson, Oscar “Buck” Robinson, Carol (Peggy Jean) Robinson, Bernice Lockhart, Lula Bell McCormick, Johnny Lee “Baby Gal” Eddy, Rich Blakeney and Beatrice “Nuke” Raysor.
