Sister Evelena Smith was 70, and departed this life Saturday August 5, in Florence County. She was the mother of Kelvin Nelson, the sister of Isaac Smith, Jimmy Smith, Janie Reed, Diane White, Geneva Smith and Shirley Thompson. You may visit the family at 1206 Ashley Avenue, Marion.
Public viewing will be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Tuesday August 15, between the hours of 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday August 16, at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Devotion Gardens Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.
