Ernest Eugene Davis

Brother Ernest Davis was 65, and departed this life Sunday April 11, 2021 in Clarendon County. He was the brother of Jeanette Barr, Johnnie Davis and Danny Davis. 

Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 10:30 am. Services will be live streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

~ Obituary ~

Ernest Eugene Davis was born March 4, 1956 in Aynor, South Carolina to the late James and Ruth Vereen Davis. He departed this life on Sunday April 11, 2021 in Manning South Carolina.

Ernest was a life long resident of the Disability & Special Needs. His last place of resident was Vanguard1 in Manning South Carolina.

Ernest was loved by his family.

Ernest was preceded in death by three brothers; Milton, Reginald,  Willie Davis, two sisters; Shirley Anderson and Penelope Davis.

Ernest leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving sister Jeanette D. Barr of Marion, South Carolina, two brothers: Johnnie Davis, Danny Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Brother Ernest Davis  in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Davis family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
