Eric Darryl Jones

Bro. Eric Darryl Jones, 18, departed this life Thursday November 29, 2018 in Florence County. He was the son of Eartha Vereen and Darryl Jones. You may visit the family at 4803 Hwy. 9 Gresham. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Tabernacle AME Church Friday December 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

ERIC Darryl Jones was born on July 10,2000 in Marion County. He was the son of Eartha Mae Vereen and Darryl Jones. ERIC attended Tabernacle A.M.E Church. He was called home from his earthly life on November 29,2018 after a brief illness at Mcleod Hospital. 

ERIC attended Marion County School Systems and was adorned by staff and students. ERIC was a very special young man and attracted the love and affection of family, friends, and the many people he came in contact with. During his illness at Mcleod the nurses would gather just to stare and chatter at how cute he was. Everybody loved ERIC. His favorite game was patty cakes. He would play all day, just smiling and babbling.He enjoyed bonding with his family. ERIC was very joyful,strong- willed, and vivacious. 

ERIC leaves to cherish his loving memories- his mother: Eartha Mae Vereen, father: Darryl Jones, one sister: Gerrita R. Boatwright, grandfather: Eugene Jones of Johnsonville,SC. nne Niece: Aunesty Middleton,two nephews: Rayqwan Totten and Amonti Middleton, a special aunt: Belisha Graves, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins,other relatives and friends. Waiting to receive Eric along with the Lord is his sister: Brandie A.Davis. Eric fought a good fight. He may have lost the battle but he won the glory!
