Elizabeth Williams Grant

Mother Elizabeth Grant, 90,  departed this life on Saturday October 20, 2018 in Marion County. She was the mother of Howard Grant, Van Grant and Johnny Grant Jr. You may visit the family at 512 Murray St. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Thursday October 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins.

Elizabeth Grant was born on February 1, 1928 in Marion, South Carolina to the late Edna and Edward Williams. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 20, 2018. 
Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her siblings Peggie Jones, Elouise Graham, Mary Alice Williams, and Hurbert Williams. 

Elizabeth attended Marion County Public Schools. In December 1944 she married the late Johnnie Grant. She was employed by Martin's Catering. Elizabeth joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church at a young age and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior. She served faithfully in the choir and in other missions as well until her failing health. 

She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories three sons; Johnny (Maxine) Grant of Marion, SC; Howard (Rena) Grant of Marion, SC; and Van (Youlanda) Grant of Warner Robins GA; 
twenty two grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Special and close friend Florence Brown.
