Sister Denice Williams Gregg was 58, and departed this life Friday July 22, 2022 in Charleston, SC. She was the mother of Shenice Williams.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the CD Joyner Auditorium on Saturday July 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Ms. Denice Williams Gregg was born on February 7, 1964. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jethro & Alice Fling Williams.
A Time To Learn
Denice was educated in the Public Schools of Marion County, SC and is a 1982 graduate of Marion High School Marion, SC. She furthered her education by enrolling in the SC
Nursing Assistant Program at The Marion Mullins Vocational Educational Center.
A Time to Serve
She was converted at an early age and joined ST. Mary AME Church Marion, SC. Denice loved singing with her anointed voice, and gifted hands to play the piano and organ to the Glory of God. She served for numerous years as the No. 1 musican for her home church. She also served as a Musician at Bethlehem Baptist Church in her younger days,
and the musician for Mt. Zion AME Church Zion, SC. She loved decorating her home, and she loved gardening and watching her flowers grow. Denice never met a stranger, and always met you with a smile.

She was presently employed with The Marion- Dillon County Board of Didabilities
until her health began to decline. She was also a former employee of Allcare Givers, Inc. of Marion, SC. She was also the caregiver of several relatives in the past.

She was preceded in death by her parents:
Mr. & Mrs. Jethro & Alice Fling Williams, an infant child Douglas Gregg. She was preceded in death by several siblings, the most recent were her sisters: the late Dr. Evelyn W. Graves formerly of Philadelphia, PA, and the late Mrs. Elista Mae Davis of Marion, SC.

Jefferson, and Ms. Jackie Williams all of Marion, SC, Mrs. Brigitte Toomer (David) of Columbia, SC, special cousins: Ms. Jackie Crawford of Florence, SC, Mrs. Lester Mae Wren of Galveston, Texas, Ms. Nicole Gamble, Rev. Berletha F. Taylor, Rev. Arletha F. Fore, Ms. Hattie F. Foreman, Mrs. Georgia F. Greene, Ms. Linda Fling-Norfleet, all of Marion, SC, Ms. Vivian P. The family of Sister Denice Williams Gregg in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community, will hold a 100 person or less funeral service for their loved one with interment immediately following. While the Gregg family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions.
