Demetrik Tywan White

Brother Demetrik T. White (age 28) departed this life Thursday, November 12, 2020, in Marion County. He is the son of Shelondia McCall and Milton White. He is the brother of Patrick Drayton. 

 The family is receiving limited visitation at the home of Demetrik's maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alice Perry 605 W. Mullins Street in Marion, SC from 1 pm-5 pm daily. All visitors are asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing and hand sanitizing. 

THERE WILL BE NO PULBIC VIEWING.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Henry L. Jackson Memorial Park on Sunday November 22, 2020 at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest at the St. Phillips UMC Cemetery, Marion. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Demetrik Tywan White b.k.a Meatball was born October 8,1992 in Marion, SC. He departed his earthly life and transitioned to a new home on November 12, 2020. 

Demetrik (Meatball) was educated in the public schools of Marion County. He was employed at Perdue Farms. Demetrik (Meatball) enjoyed spending time with his children and friends. He also enjoyed football, with his favorite team being the “Pittsburgh Steelers.” Demetrik (Meatball) also enjoyed basketball and music. Demetrik (Meatball) was loved by many.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Shelondia McCall, his father Milton White. Six sons Romeo Viering, Kameron White, Koby White, Kamon White, Jaylen White, Demetrik White. Four daughters Sophia Viering, Lauryn Grant, Sa’Rahya White, and Lyric Cross, two grandmother’s Alice Perry and Bessie McFadden. One brother, Patrick Antwan Drayton, one god-sister, Jaleyah Hall, two aunts Felicia Hughes and Rosa (Maxie) Davis, and host of cousins, including one special cousin, Joshua Hughes. Three special friends Demetrus Moore, Antonio Phillips, and Cedric Brown.

The family of Brother Demetrik White, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and the local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the White family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
