Darlene accepted Christ at an early age under the guiding hands of her parents. She attended Marion public schools and graduated from Marion High School in the class of 1986. During her time in high school, she played on the basketball team and played the clarinet in the band. She represented the Marion Swamp Foxes High school to the fullest. Known for her quick wit and larger-than-life personality, she showed us how to live, love, and be ourselves unapologetically. Faithful 49ers fine, and she would let you know it. No matter the event, situation, or scenario, "Sweet" Darlene was sure to show up but most importantly, show out!
