Brother Daniel Gause was 79, and departed this life Saturday January 9, 2021 in Marion County. He was the grandfather of Diondra Woodberry.

Father Daniel J Gause departed this life Saturday January 9, 2021 at MUSC Health Marion Medical Center Marion, South Carolina. He was born in Britton’s Neck South Carolina to the late Jimmy and Bessie Gause on August 22,1941.
At an early age, Daniel accepted Christ as his personal savior and became a member of Bethel AME Church in Britton’s Neck.
Daniel was employment with Wellman Industry for twenty plus years until his retired and his favorite hobby after work was going fishing. Daniel was joined in holy matrimony to the Margaret Gause to this union three children were born.
Preceding him in death along with his parents, his wife: Margaret Gause; one son Larry Gause, One sister and One brother. Daniel Leaves to cherish fond and loving memories two daughters: Stacey Jones of Bennettsville South Carolina and Trena Woodberry of Socettee, South Carolina. One daughter-in-law Cynthia Gause from Brittons Neck, SC. Eleven grandchildren, Diondra Woodberry (who was his caretaker), Danielle Gause and Andrale Robinson all of Britton’s Neck, Jada Gause of Charlotte, North Carolina, Daquan Jones of Austell, GA, Stephon Jones of Rayne, Louisian, Devonte Woodberry and Dejonte Woodberry both from Socastee, SC, Antonio Gause (Boston), Brandon Green (Chicago) and James Collins (Virginia). Five great-grands: Raylyn Eaddy, Mariah Gause, Dyani Hemingway, Shamiya Cotton all of Britton’s Neck SC and Naeem Jones of Austell, GA. Two sisters Lorine Woodberry and Ella (Isaiah) Bar of Britton’s Neck SC and one brother Pearlie Gause of Norfolk, VA and one sister-in-law Isabel Gause of Marion SC. One special niece reared like his own Sharlanda Davis and three good friends Ms. Mazie Woodberry, Mr. Woodrow Wilson and Mr. Cocomo Moore all of Britton’s Neck SC. A host of nieces, nephew other relatives and friends.
The family of Father Daniel Gause, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and the local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Gause family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
