Christine Hayes Obituary

Sister Christine Hayes was 72, and departed this life on Friday September 11, 2020 in Dillon County. She was the mother of Keion Hayes.

Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery on Thursday September 17, 2020 at 10:00 am. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

~ Obituary ~

Christine Hayes, daughter of the late Levi and Mary Hayes, was born in Dillon, South Carolina on January 3, 1948.

Christine entered into eternal rest on Friday September 11, 2020 at the McLeod Hospice, Dillon, South Carolina.

She accepted Christ at an early age, and joined Saint Mary Holiness Church.

Her father Levi Hayes, mother Mary Hayes and a brother Johnny Hayes preceded her in death.

Christine leaves to mourn her passing, one son Kenfor Keon (Jacalini) Hayes, five brothers and four sisters: Sarah (Harry) Sealy of Olanta Florida, Vivian (Eddie) Broadie, Connie Hayes (Wayne Graham), Olivia Hayes (Freddie Moore) of Marion, South Carolina, Levern (Patricia) Hayes, Felix  (Hattie) Hayes, both of Durham, North Carolina, Billy Morris (Easter May) Hayes, Larry Hayes, Linton Hayes of Marion, South Carolina. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family of Sister Christine Hayes, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Hayes family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
