Sister Chelrina Kay Rogers was 65, and departed this life on Friday March 10, in Marion County. She was the mother of Tyreese Rogers. You may visit the family at 1775 Hwy. 378, Gresham.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Tuesday March 21 at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Old Neck Cemetery.

Chelrina Kay Rogers was born October 7, 1957 to the late Maxie Lee Rogers and Maggie Mae Moore Rogers in Topeka, Kansas. She peacefully departed this earthly life to be with her heavenly father on Friday, March 10, 2023.
“Reda” as she was affectionately called was a gentle loving person. She was a loving mother to her only child, Tyreese Rogers, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was a best friend to her twin sister and “Road Dog” Rechelle Brown. “Reda” loved visiting garage sales, sewing, braiding hair, baking cakes for the church and shopping for bargains. “Reda” was a jack of all trades from painting to laying tiles in her home. She attended John Adams High School in Queens, New York. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Kevin Hall in 1996.
“Reda” was employed at Queens Hospital in Queens, New York as a housekeeper for several years. After relocating to South Carolina in 1999 she worked at Conway Hospital in Conway, South Carolina for several years until her health declined.
“Reda '' joined Conway Church of Christ in Conway, South Carolina under the leadership of Brother Luture Tisdal. She remained faithful and attended as often as she could until her health declined.
“Reda” loved her family and her family truly loved her. She will truly be missed. We loved you Reda but God loved you best.
“Reda” was preceded in death along with her parents: one brother, Maxie Lee Rogers Jr.; two sisters, Thelma R. Beckett and Audrey Rogers; Maternal Grandparents, Jimmy and Luthelma Moore: Paternal-Grandparents: Boyd and Martha G (Plum) Rogers; Sister-in-law, Joan W. Rogers
“Reda” leaves to cherish her legacy and precious memories~ her son, Tyreese(Cristin) Rogers; Grandsons, Tyrell, Jahmel and Jason Rogers; Great-Grands Harmony and Londyn Rogers; one brother, McKenneth (Vangelia) Woodberry of Calabash NC; two sisters; Rechelle Brown and Angel Rogers of Brittons Neck, SC; one uncle Preston (Joyce) Moore of Marion, SC; one brother-in-law, Caesar Beckett of Roslyn Heights, New York. Special niece and nephew, Katrina Rogers and Prince Kent: Special cousins, Gloria Rogers, Chauntago Rogers and Rev. Marvin Hemingway Sr.; Special friend, Mary Willis; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
