Brother Charles Miles Jr. was 56, and departed this life Tuesday October 20, 2020 in Florence County. He was the son of Mamie Josephine Miles, the brother of Kathleen Miles and Victor Leanda Miles;
Graveside services were held at the Devotion Gardens Cemetery Thursday October 29, 2020 @ 11:00 am.

Charles Lee Miles Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at MUSC Carolinas Hospital Systems in Florence, SC. He was a dialysis patient for many years but this “unforeseen virus” along with other complications sent Charles to his final resting place with his creator.
Charles “Chucky” was born to the Late Charles L. Miles Sr and Mamie Josephine Stewart Miles on Friday, March 6, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He attended public school and graduated in 1982. He also attended Harpers Ferry Job Corps in West Virginia for maintenance and Palmer School in Philly for auto mechanics.
He was affectionally known as “Spin Master Chuck” to the music world in Philly. He enjoyed spinning and mixing music like only he could. He had many friends along with his brother “Kid Divine (KD)” that entertained many audiences with their music and dancing styles. He loved his music and enjoyed watching sports (EAGLES and SIXERS) with his dad, family, and friends. He also liked working on cars and electronics.
Charles moved to South Carolina in 1989. He also lived in many states such as California, Nevada, Louisiana, and Georgia. While driving for Avis he also visited many states on the east and west coast. Charles worked several jobs for varies companies in many states such as Wal*Mart, GA School District and Miles Maintenance.
He was a very big man but a softie at heart.
His father preceded him in death, Charles L Miles Sr and one nephew Dominic Miles.

His mother, Mamie Josephine Miles; his sister, Kathleen Miles, a very good friend (brother in law) Oscar Raysor; his brother, Victor Leanda Miles; two nieces, Kayron Curry and Katrina Pitts; two grand-nieces, Kariyana and Kaliyah Pitts; four nephews, Victor R Miles, Victor L Miles Jr, Brandon Miles and Justin Miles; two special cousins, Zina Jennings and Dale Brown, who actually gave inspiration for the writing of his life; six aunts, Helen, Ruby, Gloria, Deloris, Ann and Mary; many cousins, other family members, and friends.
The family of Brother Charles Miles Jr. , in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Miles family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
