Catherine Deloris (Bell) Aiken

Sister Catherine Deloris Bell Aiken was 77, and departed this life Thursday March 2, 2023 in Marion County. She was the mother of Ronnie Aiken, Tommy Aiken, Keith Aiken and Leteashi Woodberry. You may visit the family at 2414 Olivet Cemetery Rd. Mullins. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Little Pee Dee Baptist Center 6127 East Highway 76, Mullins, SC 29574, on Friday March 10, at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at St. James AME Church Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Late Thursday evening, March 2,2023 our beloved Mother Catherine Aiken entered into external rest at MUSC Marion, SC.  Mother Cat was born on December 16, 1945 to the late Luedelia and Solomon Bell in Marion SC.  

Mother Cat married the love of her life the late Deacon Thomas Aiken Jr on September 2, 1965 and was married for over 50 years. To this union four Children was born. Mother Cat was employed at Anvil for 15 years. 

Mother Cat joined New life Holiness Church in Rains SC under the leadership of the late Bishop Foxworth later on the late Bishop Tina Patrice at an early age where she served as a choir member and on the usher board.   

Mother Cat Was preceded in death by her husband Deacon Thomas Aiken Jr, Three brother’s : Levon Bell, Solomon Bell, Levern Bell, Three sisters: Mary Thomas,  Beulah Brown, Leise Ellison, one brother N Law Walter Boatwright , One Sister N Law: Lueann Aiken 

Mother Cat loving memories will be cherished by her four children: Keith ( Crystal) Aiken (Clinton NJ), Ronnie ( Nichole) Aiken (Marion SC), Thomas Aiken (Marion SC), Leteashi Woodberry Mullins SC). One sister: Mattie-mae Bell, Two Sister N law: Edna Carter, Pasty Aiken, two brother N laws: Major Aiken, Joe( Evelyn) Aiken, 13 Grandchildren Latice ( Brain) threatt , Keera Aiken, Ashlie Aiken, Keith Simmons, Kenyon Aiken, Tyesha Woodberry, Jameson Aiken, Pastor Jarvis (Jaz’Myn) Woodberry, Tommarrion Aiken, Ryan Aiken, Charisma Freeman, Jaden, Jordan , 4 Great Grandchildren: Ma’laysia Woodberry, Kalen Williams, Josiah (JoJo) Woodberry, Jabreil (JB) Woodberry. A special woman who she called her Godmother: Mother Ethel Gamble. A host of nieces, Nephews, Relatives and friends.
