Brother Bryon Riggins was 59, and departed this life Tuesday March 2, 2021 in Hartsville, S.C.

Graveside services are scheduled to be held at the Heavenly Hills Cemetery 7777 Log Cabin Rd. Loris, SC, Monday March 8, 2021 at 11:00 am. Services will be live-steamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

~ Obituary ~

Bryon Cornell Riggins was born on April 9, 1961 in Loris, South Carolina. Because of his radiant smile and sweet humble spirit, Bryon, affectionately known as “B. Fox” by his siblings, was loved by all who knew him.

At an early age he lived at home. However, due to his disability, his parents realized that he needs special attention to assist him with learning and adapting to his needs. As a young boy, Bryon resided at the Coastal Center located in Summerville, SC. As a young adult he lived at the Pee Dee Regional Center in Florence, SC. The past several years, he reside in Hartsville, SC at the Thad E. Saleeby Development Center.

Early Tuesday morning March 2 after a courageous battle with heart issues, our Heavenly Father whispered to Bryon to “Come rest in My arms”. Bryon was preceded on death by his parents L.D. and Mildred Riggins Graham.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, the devoted staff of the Thad Saleeby Development Center; a devoted sister and guardian Tara Graham James (Eddie); his brothers; Trenton Graham of Albany, NY, Travis Graham of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Reginald Graham (Michelle) of Little River, SC, Ronald Graham of Riverview, Florida, Larry D. Graham (Melissa) of Little River, Jimmy Jones of Loris, SC and Larry D. Johnson (Valerie) of Riverview, Florida ; several nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and countless friends.

The family of Brother Bryon Riggins in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Riggins family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
